Continuous committees
Continuous committees
The Association has several committees that are not specifically for organising activities, but concern themselves with ongoing aspects of the Association. They are very varied in what they do and how they operate. Although these committees do change after each year, a lot of members tend to stay with the committee for more than a single year! This also means that the committees can get quite big, and often consist of members of all years at university.
Beer Brewing committee
As you might expect, this committee enjoys brewing beer. The committee takes this on from the very beginning of the process. First, making their own recipes. Then, brewing the beer on their specialised brewing installation. Lastly, after a few weeks, the beer can be bottled and is sold to all members during one of the Thursday afternoon drinks!

Editorial committee
Have you seen the beautiful openMEs around Traverse or Gemini? The Editorial committee (a.k.a. RedactCie) is responsible for creating these magazines. They brainstorm ideas, write articles, and even learn to work with InDesign to let their ideas come to life. Your creativity will not be stopped in this committee, and many new and fun ideas will be encouraged to work out.

Extraordinary Activities committee
This committee is responsible for the regular Thursday afternoon drinks, as well as all of the special drinks throughout the year. It is a very close-knit committee that always has a lot of fun during the drinks (and of course during the exclusive after-drinks)! You can recognise the committee during the drinks by their colourful vests!

Cooking committee
For everyone who likes to cook, this committee is perfect. Every GMM, the committee gets to pick a dish and make it for everyone who joins. Everyone is always very greatful for a good meal (and desert of course) before a very long evening, so expect a lot of thank-yous at the end of the GMM. Next to the standard GMM dinners, we sometimes also organise different activities. Think of diner roulers, cooking workshops, or writing a cookbook.

Merch committee
The Merch committee is a rather new committee of the Association. This committee is reinvented if the Association is in need of something new. In the past, they have created sweaters, socks, dice, and so much more. All ideas are welcome, and fun designs get to be actually made and sold to our members!

Photo committee
The Photo committee (a.k.a. PaparaCie) can be found at every activity. They take pictures of everything that is organised by the Association. After that, they are responsible for editing the pictures and sharing them with the entire Association. You can take pictures of everything you can think of, from a company visit on location to people doing shots at one of the ME-parties. For the very motivated committee members, there is even a GoPro available for a lot of fun videos.

Land Yachting committee
Since Simon Stevin is the inventor of the land yacht, land yachting is an integral part of the Association, which, of course, warrants its own committee! The Land Yachting committee is responsible for the maintenance of the Association's fleet of land yachts. They do this during "beun evenings", where they employ their Mechanical Engineering skills to fix land yachts and even build new ones. They also organise Land Yachting weekends and the Land Yachting midweek, in which the members can try their hand at land yachting and have a lot of fun at the beach!

Repairing committee
Did something break in our Association? That is the time when the ReparaCie is called. They are the ones who keep all of our structures together. They can be asked to help fix something once it breaks, or come up with their own ideas to give our Association even more of its own identity.

Web committee
The Web committee is always busy with anything electronic or online, such as this website! Although they are one of the less visible committees of the Association, they are incredibly important to keep everything running!
