How You’ll Make an Impact

As an Engineer I, Operations Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our high-tech Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs) are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Your work will help scientists and engineers make breakthrough discoveries in nanotechnology, materials science, and life sciences. You’ll collaborate across teams to streamline production processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to cutting-edge technology that is shaping

A Day in the Life

  • Provide hands-on technical support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth production workflows and efficient processes in the supply chain and manufacturing. 
  • Write and maintain clear work instructions that optimize factory processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, logistics, service teams, and suppliers to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturability.
  • Perform testing, validation, and quality checks to ensure our microscopes meet the highest performance standards.

What You Bring

  • Vocational or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset for technical challenges.
  • Ability to create technical documentation and reports in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Comfortable working in a high-tech cleanroom environment when needed.
