Drink Lecture at TU/e: Starting Rocket Engines with APP
Ever wondered what actually happens right before a rocket leaves the launch pad, and who builds the systems that make that possible?
APP (Aerospace Propulsion Products BV) develops and produces the critical ignition and start systems that bring space-rocket engines to life. In this guest lecture, we’ll take you behind the scenes of real propulsion hardware used in the space industry, and share how mechanical engineering turns into flight-ready technology.
The speaker is a former TU/e Mechanical Engineering student who now works in the heart of aerospace propulsion, and is coming back to Eindhoven to tell the story, the challenges, and the coolest lessons learned along the way.
If you’re curious about space, high-tech engineering, or what it’s like to work on systems that literally start rockets, don’t miss it. Come by, get inspired, and bring your questions!
